BREACH was commissioned by the City of Kansdas City (Parks & Rec) in the summer of 2015. It measures 70 ft x 11 ft, and is located in the building enclosing a public pool, at the intersection of Truman Rd. & Benton Blvd., near downtown Kansas City. It features two life-sized plesiosaur skeletons: a Dolychorhynchops and an Elasmosaurus.The mural chronicles how the rise of human civilization hinged on fossil fuels, going from nomadic tribes to the Agricultital, Industrial Revolutions, leading to our current state of disharmony with Nature.. and beyond into the Information Age..
